Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and Lunar Limited for using Lunar Labs Studios. They are written to be read: the short version of each section comes first. If anything is unclear, write to [email protected].

Who we are

Lunar Labs Studios (“the Studio”, “we”, “us”) is operated by Lunar Limited, a company registered in the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), Addax Office Tower 3507, Al Reem Island, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. “You” means the person using the Studio, or the business they use it for — if you accept these terms for a business, you confirm you can bind it.

Your account

• You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher.
• One person per account. Keep your password private; you are responsible for activity under your account.
• Give us a real email address. We use it for sign-in, receipts and anything important about your account.
• We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, that puts people or the Studio at risk, or where the law requires it. Where it is safe and lawful to do so, we tell you why and give you a chance to respond.

How the Studio works

The Studio turns your prompts, images, video and audio into new video and images using AI models — some built by us (such as Lunar Motion) and some by other companies, whose names we show next to each model. Each generation is priced in credits before you run it, and that is exactly the amount taken.

AI output is probabilistic. Two runs of the same prompt can differ, a result can miss what you asked for, and output can resemble existing material. The Studio is a creative tool, not a source of facts.

Credits

• What credits are. Credits are a prepaid, non-refundable licence to use the Studio. They are not money, not a stored-value instrument, have no cash value, and cannot be sold, transferred between accounts or exchanged.
• Plan credits are added at the start of each billing period and roll over while your plan is active. If a plan ends, credits already in your balance stay usable on the Free plan's limits.
• Credit packs (top-ups) do not expire.
• Welcome credits — 60 on the Free plan — are given once per person, after the email address is confirmed. Creating accounts to collect them again is not allowed.
• Failed generations are refunded automatically. If a generation fails — the model returns an error, the result cannot be saved, or it runs far past its expected time — its credits return to your balance without you asking. A generation that completed but did not match your intent is not a failure.

Plans, billing and cancellation

• Paid plans renew automatically every month or year until cancelled. Prices are in US dollars and exclude taxes that apply where you live; any tax is shown at checkout.
• Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
• Upgrading takes effect immediately: you pay the prorated difference and receive the extra credits for the rest of the period.
• Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep your plan, its features and its credits until the end of the period you paid for. Cancel any time from Plan and billing in your account.
• Refunds of money are covered by our Refund Policy. If a payment is refunded or disputed, credits it bought may be removed from your balance (to the extent they have not been spent).

Your content and what you make

• You own your inputs and outputs. As between you and us, you own the prompts and files you upload and the videos and images you generate, to the extent the law allows anyone to own them.
• Commercial use. On a paid plan you may use your generations commercially — in client work, advertising, films and products you sell. Generations made on the Free plan are for personal, non-commercial use and carry a watermark.
• No guarantee of uniqueness. Similar prompts can produce similar results for other people, and we cannot give you rights in things that are not ours — a real person's likeness, a trademark, a copyrighted character — that appear in your output because you asked for them.
• The licence you give us. You let us host, process, copy and display your content only as needed to run the Studio for you: storing your library, running your generations, making backups, preventing abuse. We do not use your private uploads or generations to train AI models.
• Publishing to the community. If you publish a generation, you also let us show it — with its prompt and settings, and your public profile — on studios.lnr.ae and in links to it, until you hide it or delete it. Others can view it and recreate its settings; they do not get rights in your output.

Acceptable use

Everything you make with the Studio must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. In short: nothing illegal, no sexual content involving minors in any form, no non-consensual intimate imagery, no deceptive deepfakes of real people, no infringing other people's rights, and no abusing the Studio itself.

AI-generated content

Label AI-generated material as such wherever the law or a platform requires it. Do not present generated video as real footage of real events or real people saying or doing things they did not.

Availability and changes

We work hard to keep the Studio running, but we cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. Models, features and prices change as the technology does. When a change materially affects something you have paid for, we tell you in advance and honour your current billing period. We may update these terms; if a change is material we will email you before it takes effect, and continuing to use the Studio after that means you accept it.

Liability

The Studio is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows:

• we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill;
• our total liability for any claim relating to the Studio is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from content you upload or generate, or from your breach of these terms or the law.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using the Studio and delete your account at any time by writing to [email protected]. We may end this agreement if you materially breach it. Sections that by their nature should survive — ownership, liability, governing law — survive.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws applied in the Abu Dhabi Global Market. The courts of the ADGM have exclusive jurisdiction, except where the law of your country gives you the right to bring a claim at home. Before going to court, write to us — most things can be fixed with a conversation.
